Your thoughts on Saturdays Battle ?
Please take the time if you played in this game, just for a few lines on your thoughts - however "harsh" or "good". In the long run it will benefit us all.
Big thank you to Fritz for loaning us the server and providing the goods - which where excellent .................... no lag all night, so thanks (just need to sort out your TS mate ... lol)
If there where any new guys on the game - I hope you saw how teamwork works .......... and I hope it showed to you that it "does" work.
Its not all about "global points".

Id just like to say the teamwork was impressive. Squads actually moved in a squad. Squad members actually covered, supported each other. I seen 1 squad attacking, 1 squad defending, and 1 squad using the 1st squads attack to their advantage and flanking the enemy position. I couldnt believe what I was seeing.
The only bad thing that I have to say is the use of vanilla BF2 maps. The custom maps were much greater, funner to play than reg. BF2 maps.

it was great i. i wish i could have played earlyer in the day and not play oasis when i played it got boreing but i did enjoy "mortaring". i hope we can do this again.
i wish there was beter strategy, the suads work well toget but they dont realy have the strategy to use there team work well. i peronly did not see in the begining much flanking, just squads working togther chargeing the other team. (when i left at 5 it was geting beter) i got back at 10 and it hard to tell on the oasis
i had a little lag on for one map for a little bit, but the lag was not bad at all.
the only thing i hate was the medic bunny hoping to revie team mates. was very anoying at times. (stupid isntat revie)
had fun i think almost ever one did, i saw 1or 2 people complain but it was good

I greatly enjoyed todays game, was very fun.
Although, with so many players on, and with so many people new to PRMM, a couple of times i was like "hmm reminds me a bit of Vanilla, just easier to kill people" as a couple of times i saw a lot of people were using teamwork, but i also saw times where people were using teamwork.
With the maps, it got kinda repetitive with some of the maps, i enjoy urban maps, but when you have people that ONLY want to play one kind of map, like Karkand, or the Urban enviroment type, for hours upon hours it gets dull and boring, at least for me.
When we did do some open maps, like El Alamein, after about 5 minutes i begin seeing the flood of Map votes for more urban maps,or strictly infantry maps, even when we just went through 2 rounds of Sharqi and Oasis, i thought, "oh good a nice wide open map" luckily the map lasted the two rounds so that was fun.
I believe PR needs more "open maps" lets face it, not all real life battles takes place in a city, so just some open fielded maps thrown in with a variety of other maps would help to get rid of that monotonous atmosphere of city maps

Had some good battles tonight.
Much more fun with 25 people on each side
We need some new custom maps, maps that are made realisticly.
Also saw far too much medic "gayness", with any luck this will be fixed in 0.3.
Overall though, this was a very successful night of gaming, had lots of fun with the good squad co-ordination. Hopefully this becomes a regular thing.

Saturday's game was pretty awesome... would been better if my damn internet would stay connected for more than seven minutes at a time.
Lots of teamwork and the custom maps are a helluva lot better than the pieces of **** Dice made

btw, note for the future. Even if the bf2 server crashed, it auto-restarts immediately. So just rejoin. It might go MIA from the server list for a few seconds.
I unfortunately couldn't play very long myself. The time I did play was very fun. Every time there's a PR effort, there's a in-game player count reward

Had great fun, on oasis, i remember worst3 picking off our entire squad whilst dedmond would keep reviving us.
Was interesting to see squads actually work to gether though, was probably the most fun I've had with PRMM and BF2. Was also really interesting in terms of sutom maps. I used to dislike Oasis quite a bit, but after playing with 64 people, it just seems to "work". I am never going to forget watching around 6 SAW's camp on the ridge at the top of a sand dune, and just light an entire base up! Should do Saturday night game night more often!
