Minor Tank suggestion

Post by PlatinumA1 »

i notice since like .6 how gay the loading sound for a sabot round or heat is in the M1A2 and Challenger 2 , a new loading sound in these tanks would be great , sounding like a real person loading , instead of a autoloader..but i do find difficulties trying to find a good recording

Smeg: Fuzz commands a lot and promotes good teamwork, db flips vehicles, Bosco is an all-round nub, Outlawz is an SP whore, Nickbond is a friggin ninja and Rhino gets kicked for being a n00b.

Hear hear, sounds like a minor change that might be possible. We might know someone who could record a real loader saying his bit. (Perhaps he will say Brew-Up sometime too if he is a Brit one, as they are the ones who operate the critical BV in the Challenger II. Right UK_Hussar? :) Whether is is possible to code individual sounds to each factions vehicles remains to be seen. However ear-candy is a bit feature of 0.7, and more is always good.

...uh...yeah...that's been around since vBF2. You know how the M1, T-90, and Chinese tank sound different? Yeah...

I think when 1.0 comes around, we'll think we're almost right there on the field.

There was a US army tank loader stationed in Korea hanging around the forums not that long ago....

Make sure he sounds uber masculine. I wouldn't want to be reloading my main gun and not be reminded of Chuck Norris, Apple Pie, and all that other good Freedom stuff.

Lol. thats pretty good :-D

I was thinking the other day about the "SABOT up!" sound. seems to me that it's said unnecessarily loud and could do with replacing.

Although this certainly isn't a main priority ;)

Yeah we meant to get to out a few weeks ago to record kettles boiling and such but unfortunately we forgot our tea bags :)
