But,okay maybe it doesn't help.But i'm playing with the old drivers because i reinstalled my computer removed everything and then installed xp and then all programs again,not all programs but the mmost of that i had before and then i installed pr,played and it workt maybe its something in windows... it maybe will be solved to XP Special pack 3.

I surely recommend everyone having X-Fi soundcard to try older drivers. There seems to be some bug in latest ones, not in the mod, BF2 engine (in this case) or Windows.

If you have onboard soundcard just buy better one (like X-Fi as they are desingned to work together with BF2), BF2 doesn't support AC'97 codec based soundcards.

Agree. I had no freezes after the removal of X-FI drivers. Yesterday I played about 2-3 hours with no problems and the day before about 1,5 hour.

Old X-Fi driver didn't solve my freezing problem

It seemed to work on FH2 but not in PR.

This fault just beats me, I hope someone will find the solution someday... Anyway I'm pointing my finger towards Creative Labs.

P.S.

Some have used software option in audio settings and did get results:

It just isn't the way it should be solved because there wouldn't be any use for high detailed audio and expencive X-Fi soundcard.
