For some reason pr and vanilla are crashing when trying to load maps. Anyone know why?

have you updated bf2 to 1.41?

On a sidenote there is a help forum where you should post these things...

yes I do have that version updated. I was able to play .7 last night but all of a sudden I cant play it today.

Does it crash to desktop everytime you try to load a multiplayer server, but single player works fine? If yes I had the same problem that you did and I was forced to uninstall BF2 to fix it after nothing else worked.
