Laser-Guided Bomb to All Jets

Suggestion:
Add laser-guided munitions to all fighter jets such as currently featured in Qinling
Fighter Jets : F16, F18, Mig29, J10, EF
Option 1:
2x Long Range AA Missile
4x Short Range AA Missile
2x Air-Ground Missile

Option 2:
2x Long Range AA Missile
4x Short Range AA Missile
1x 1,000 LB Laser Guided Bomb

Option 3
2x Long Range AA Missile
4x Short Range AA Missile
2x 500 Lb Laser Guided Bomb

Option one is personally the one I would like to use because you can use it at any altitude, and it has that nice standoff capability. I think that having laser guided Mavericks is kind of silly as they target the heat on a tank, so don't ask me why that isn't the case. Anyways, you always have an even number of weapons on an aircraft as it keeps you from tipping sideways. Also the mirror loadout is something I would like to be rid of. And lastly this looks like a massive amount of ordinance for a plane to carry, and we would have to look at each planes standard loadout ect.

I was thinking in terms of Option 2 that the LGB would be on the center fuselage. Although there have been aircraft in combat to fly with uneven loads.

Maverick-E (AGM-65E) is laser-guided. Has a 300 lb penetrator warhead, too.

BTW, its "ordnance." No "i." An "ordinance" is a law. Ordnance is usually illegal to own.

Well I can assure you that pilots prefer and mission planners attempt is getting the right ordinance on the jet, and as a frequent pilot in PR, and after spending significant amounts of time getting planes to fly level, I don't want to be flipping upside down whenever I look at the map. And although it depends on the plane, on the centerline is usually used for the LANTIRN or sniperXR pod, (which is used to acquire the target in the first place, without the aid of ground troops *coughing*).

The "E" model wasn't fired by the Air Force until October of this year, and in Desert Storm with the USMC had a %60 hit rate. One of the main features of the E/F models are that its laser or IR seeker are interchangeable. The IR imaging allows for better targeting in poor weather, while laser beams become scattered.

I'm with him. Lets be realistic, in todays world no plane is designed without some sort of A-G/CAS abaility.

Hell, in EF2000 I remember strapping two ASRAAM, four AMRAAM and two of the long-range options onto the bird, along with a a pair of AGMs or other such ordnance.

If I remember rightly, the Typhoon does it by allowing four AMRAAMs attached to the central fuselage, in place of extended-range fuel tanks. The AIM-9Ms go onto the wingtip, allowing two pheonixes (if that's what they were) and two small JDAMs or Mavericks on the standard pylons.

Well, the jets on Kashan are all Air Superiority Fighters, as you need it that way in order to get your GA planes up, or the enemy ones down.

The ones on Quinling are all multirole fighters, using both AA and bombs. (Am I using these terms right? Not sure if "multirole" is a loadout, or just a description of weapon loadout potential.)

TBH I'm sure they pick what they need before deployment, IE it's up to the mapper.
