I just played a full game as Insurgents on the 24/7 basrah server. We had a pretty organized team, we were taking out british rally points, we destroyed all their bridges and we had IED ambushes at the land bridges. And yet the brits were able to find all the caches with still about 100 tickets left.
I think it's a bit too easy for brits right now.
My suggestion is the intel should be harder to get. They were getting tons and tons of intel, I don't know how. With 4 caches left, I believe they had intel on all of them.
Also, it kind of sucks that servers like DBD, Texas Teamplayers and TG almost never play this map =/
Make intel harder to get on Basrah?

They arrest a civi and kill about 3-4 cell leaders and they already know, where the damn cache is. And with superior weaponry and tons of armor that isn't really hard to do.
I agree with making it harder to get intel and also, killing a civilian should remove even more intel from the GB team, so they'd finally watch their fire and ID the targets. Right now it doesn't matter to them, if they kill one, since it doesn't have any impact on gathering intel points.
And also, Insurgent RPs should respawn, since after the British rape the city, yet again the only place to spawn is the always-camped-by-the-British Mosque and Palace with bridges blown apart all the time.

I second this. Force the Brits to ID and not kill everything that moves in front of them. Literally 6 minutes into a game brits had already gotten intelligence on one cache, with 10 caches, and assuming 20 minutes to find and kill each cache, that means even with max game time insurgents can't win unless the brits try to die really, really hard.I agree with making it harder to get intel and also, killing a civilian should remove even more intel from the GB team, so they'd finally watch their fire and ID the targets. Much more important is the real problem - the fact that the British can stumble randomly on a cache while strolling through the city. A game yesterday where 2 squads were defending the ID'd caches were never attacked as one by one the caches that had not been revealed on the map disappeared. If there was a way that the cache would only become visible to the British after they had collected sufficient intelligence ...

No, its already hard enough to find a cache when you know its general location.LeoBloom. wrote:Slightly unrealistic, but it might work. Basically have the caches spawn as soon as they are revealed to prevent what $kelet0r mentioned?
And for those few squads who do a good job surviving a blind search of an area, if they find one they deserve it.
Right now I find things pretty hard for the british, they really need to work together in order to win. The only times i've been on a loosing Insurgent team (yesterday...) the insurgents where doing a very crappy job with very few people actually on the discovered caches.
2 days ago with only one squad we defended 2 caches (near the tall buildings south/center in the city) for about 30-40 minutes, the rest of the team putting a good fight in the north and west of the city limits. In the end only our 2 caches where left and the brits still had 100 tickets.
In the end they never even got close to taking them out.
So 1-2 dedicated and patient squads is all you need to give your team a good chance.
Running around like headless chickens that's whats makes you loose.
But I do agree there should be more of a visible punishment for killing civilians, I don't see people even hesitate to check their fire anymore.
On another note, it is crucial for the brits to construct a Bunker/firebase for the added ticket resupply they give every 10 minutes, on a 1-2 hour fight it does make the difference. So commanders at your duty !
