Flicker and white trees

Trees in distance are with a white ground (sry bad english)

And textures flicker in distance.

8800GTS latest driver, with all settings ingame or driver (aa off on trible buff.. ect=)

Strange reports say that starting the .exe from HD instead of CD solved this problem. Mentioned in the nvidia thread above and here:

BTW..i start from the shortcut with

+modPath mods/pr +menu 1 +widescreen 1 +szx 1680 +szy 1050

theres no pr.exe ..but this cant be ?

Seems to be a problem when you increase the object draw distance (needed for more view distance), I get it too and I've got an 8800gt, but I had it with my 7600gt too.

Common issue in BF2.

I get it, and I wouldn't bother trying to fix it.

You can actually see things a little bit beyond the fog limit due to this :o (eg: see white feet moving around in the fog, or bottom of tank tracks).

I tried delete the cache, then start without aa and set aa ingame after..dont work..

ATI Cards have it as well, do you mean ingame draw distance? Or is that a nVidia setting?

Tested all settings ingame and with driver LOD, Texture claim...no solution.

After hours of testing...google i give up--like playing pr so much..

^^sry saw this thread, when i ask ingame a lot people have this probs.

lower light, dynamic light and shadows..nothing..

cleared shader cache all time .. nothing, no setting help

The only way to fix it, is open source hack Bf2 engine and make a patch to fix it. Source code FTW!

This is one of those mildly annoying graphical issues that just isn't going to be worked out. I would say let it go, unless you have a lot of time to try finding a fix.
