Field Dressing
Now I don't know if this has been suggested so I am srry if it has. I have a problem sometimes with the field dressing rolling down the hill, and (I know this has been said) it disappearing. Is there any plans or thoughts on making it possible to heal yourself without throwing it down, but still able to throw it down so as to give it to another teammate.

i like the idea of letting it heal u if its in ur hands if u right click and hten letting you toss it on the ground if u lft click so other soldiers can use ur dressing
i remember once i was in a blackhawk and we were en route to the front lines and we get hit by some tiny AA, and obviously i also get hit and start bleeding, and i had to tell the pilot to land so i could give myself a field dressing. (which btw didnt stop the bleeding)

What's up with the field dressings in FH2, did they take the PR idea, did they ask for it or did they come up with it seperately?

Got me on that one, you have indeed.
Back on topic, the field dressing system is by no means perfect, but FH2 had a ridiculous tamount of time to code, they managed to get dry and wet reloading, an arty system and all kinds of other stuff but they found no better way of portraying bandages.

I didn't think it was that hard either. Learn from your experiences folks, certain parts of the engine are just not going to be able to work nicely. The current field dressings are a compromise between usability and the need to not let players heal everyone in their squad with a 12 square inch bandage.simple, throw the dressing up hill and let it roll to you.
