QBZ-95 instead of QBZ-95B

Post by Longbow* »

Question - will PLA specops recieve full size rifle whereas PLA crewman - QBZ-95B? I think it is well known fact that PLA developed and use QBZ-95B as a PDW weapon, just the same way russians use AKS-74U.

You know references are always good. Here's a nice one: QBZ95 (Type 95) 5.8mm Automatic Weapons - SinoDefence.com

They state that:
The QBZ95B carbine is a shorter and lighter version of the standard rifle with reduced effective range. It cannot fire the rifle grenade or be fitted with a grenade launcher. The weapon’s muzzle has a special funnel-shape flash hider. This weapon was designed for uses by the special operations forces in close quarter battle 9CQB). No operational deployment of the weapon has been reported.
So I would go with no...

No operational deployment of the weapon has been reported.
IMO removing the qbz-95b will be good.

It was designed for that purpose, but I do not think the PLA special forces actually use it. (as expressed by the "No operational deployment of the weapon has been reported.")

Has the Chinese SF been in any operations recently? To be in operational deployment doesn't have to be used in an actual mission?

That is all.
The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.

Absolutely epic Bob! Seriously, you made me want to go watch some star trek.

Anyhow, don't spout random **** you heard from your friend you played BF2 with one time in 5th grade. I recommend actually looking for the information, google is a good start. I know, its a foreign concept to some, but it keeps us from being like "OMG WTF YOU IDIOTS NO NO NO".

Okay, obviously overdone. But you get what I'm trying to communicate.

Now, please post pictures of Chinese Special forces with the QBZ-95B to counter me. If there are none, I think the point will be made.

Could you add a forehead slap animation to them as well? It seems important, given geze's pictures.

But anyhow, I think the point has been beaten to death and run over with a tank. QBZ-95, not the 95B. Unless of course someone still wants to get dropkicked by Geze.

You can either base things on evidence, or you can base them on bullshit. I prefer evidence, and I think most people here do as well.
