Given the limitations of the BF2 engine, it's fine as it is. I have no problem getting 20-30 kills with my rifle in most rounds, people just need to improve their infantry skills.

I have multiple times died from from a singe shot (not a headshot) from a SVD,G3 and that QBZ*something* rifle. So i think its fine ;)
Never argue with an idiot, he will just drag you down to his level and beat you by experience ;)

well while manning an m16 or what not it takes more than 3 bullets to kill somebody for me, i dont know but to be perfectly honest, i thought it was easier to kill in the previous release. In this one its like not only do we now have deviation but i cant kill like i used to... I also do those three hits on an enemy from only a few feet away, i of course fired about 10 shots, in which only 3 actually hit from that distance.... lame.

It's fine! The DEVs do the very best they can with the engine. Otherwise we'd have all the limping, advanced bleeding systems, broken legs that require full on medical attention etc, that would make the amount of bullets you take tangible to something. Unfortunately none of them are possible, at least at the moment.

I imagine that you could mimic having locational damage by creating a buttload of material types depending on location, armor value, etc. It would just suck to setup, and BF2 probably wouldn't deal with it well, given the hitbox issues already present.

I have had 1 shot kill someone. I have had 2-3 shots in the chest kill someone. I have fired 10 shots mid mass into someone and killed them. I have also fired 10 shots into someone mid mass and not killed them.

So I have no idea what or how they configure damage in this Mod. No fricken clue as it's all over the place in results. I just keep firing until they are dead and even then I fire into them some more. Because you can't be certain anymore.
