Request Bug Confirm List - MG Static Iron sight

First I would like to ask for a list published by a Dev that lists the bugs that have been confirmed and tested. That way when someone wants to post a possible bug and if the search function doesn't come back with anything on that bug they can check the list to make double certain. That way the Devs can also list those that are not fixable due to engine limitations. Similar to the list in the Suggestions forum section.

Second, the MG static emplacement that is connected to a wall or a sandbag used to have crosshairs on the screen. Obviously in PR there are no crosshairs. However there is no way to look down iron sights as you would in a vehicle MG. Is there a way to implements this? (I tried C, X and RMB just in case)

Third I just noticed that the US AA asset has a view reticle for general aim. The Chinese one does not. I don't know if the MEC one has one since I've not seen one yet. From a consistency standpoint I feel all AA should have that aiming reticle.

Is this what is being used by the Chinese?

...*facepalm* Do you have ANY idea how big of a list that would be?...Also, what is wrong with the search function? :confused:

Tested and Confirmed bugs? I'd say no more than a hundred or so. Have you seen the suggestions list? It's pretty long already. As for the search function I tried using it but if you don't word it exactly the way other people have worded it then sometimes it just doesn't come up. Such as the Static MG Iron sight option. Is this a bug? Is it not suppose to exist? Is it an error or on purpose? There is no documentation on it that I can find.

Also, the compiled suggestion list in the tester forums shows no mention of this issue with the stationary MG ironsights...Perhaps why the find function couldn't find anything really useful on the issue is simply because nobody cares about the stationary MG's? :? ??:

probably - i mean compared to the comanders bug - its nothing
but true, i found myself random shooting the stationary to see where the tracers hit to know how to aim - unfortunately this alarms the enemy

while they are at it - maybe they can unify the zoom key - rmb for this, flares key for that, third key i don't remember - mapped it to . - not comfy!

Main reason this probably hasn't been brought up more is exactly because the static MG are not useful in their current form. Randomly shooting down range using tracers to aim is ridiculous. The same goes for the AA. Seriously who makes an AA gun without a gun sight? Military engineers that use psyche powers to aim? Perhaps the Force is strong with them.

As for a map where the static MG are extremely important I point you to Hills of Hamgyong. I use the static MG emplacements on the walls quite a bit. Risking being headshot the entire time. Since I can't aim all that effectively I spray and pray.

The list would be way too long and would include many old bugs that everyone knows of. New guys wouldn't use it anyway so we'd still have 1000 topics about the merlin, etc. The AA guns and static MGs are very easy to aim imo. Making iron sights, reticles would cost a lot of time for something that has not a really high priority.

i look through sites on my weapon then put my finger on the middle of the screen, then go on the aa/mg and you know where abouts it will shoot

usually though i just use the tracer.

Static MGs are kinda a pain to aim, but if you're using one you're probably going to get headshotted anyhow, so why bother.

Comments about getting head shotted while using the MG static and advice to put whiteout physically on my monitor do not fix the fact that static MG need an iron sight period and obviously no one uses them because currently they are ineffective and nothing more than a target since they can't aim.

I'm tell you, if you could aim with them and if they were located in decent location people would be using them all the time. Then you would be complaining about getting shot by them because you like to rush the middle out in the open.

brummy.uk - Awesome comment. By that rational they should just remove the Suggestions lists also since no one seems to read it anyways.
