Situational Awareness. Thats it.
If you have it, you will survive (more), with out it you look like a bunny hopping noob with rabies.
I find when i play for the score I do horrible. Hunting down an enemy when I should be taking a cp. When I play for teamwork and the win, the score comes naturally and its more satisfying when you are at the top of the score board and didn't even know it.
Always know where everyone is, your teamates, squad members, and where the enemy is most likely to head. I see alot of people run straight into situations that can only have one outcome, for no reason, hey I do it too alot, its just trying not to that makes it fun.

Always get to know how to use the Single/Burst/Auto modes. This can be real effective when killing people. For example: If you are using a M16A2 always make you sure know what rate of fire you are at. There might be a MEC right around the corner. If you know you are going to get into some CQB (Close Quarter Combat) Always use a high rate of fire. In this case, Burst, so you can get as much bullets into him. If you're going to snipe a few from a far distance, you would obviously use single fire.

AT mine and the drop at a bridge exit.
I can seriously rack up points doing this seeing as you offten get tanks leading to mullar an area
(especially on wake (the north base)) and i leave a few presents on the far side of the bridge as the driver cant see into the dip at the end he gets blown to hell.

In my opinion, single shot is THE only fire mode. Burst if its getting close.

Actually, lately what I've found works really well (moreso with the M-16 than with the AK-101, but that goes without saying
) is keeping the gun in single shot, and shooting away at roughly 0.3 second intervals. It gives the cover fire effect, even if you're not hitting anyone (and this is REALLY important, because either they're pinning you down, or you're pinning them down, and anyone in the open is dead. If your MG's try to set up and keep getting blasted without being able to even return fire, then help out, stand up, put 10 shots or so in their direction, and get back down before you get hit-- that will at least give your MGs a chance to set up). If you're good enough to recover the aim between each shot, then you should really end up cleaning up.

Excellent point . I can relate , staying alive is job one , shooting enamy is second.One repeating theme throughout this thread is the need of squads to concentrate their firepower , something that doesn't happen often enough.Martini wrote:Situational Awareness. Thats it.
