moving Boat

we really need a move able boat a little boat would be cool for the plane to do a emergency landing on

Most people can't even land on the massive static aircraft carrier we have now.

How do you suppose they are going to land on a smaller boat being moved around by another player with a 400 ping>? lol :idea:

Nah, landing is pretty easy. You just point the aircraft in the general direction of the carrier/strip, full throttle, then when you get close - eject and pop your chute. Easy as pie.

What? :mrgreen:

FWIW, as far as I know the BF2 engine doesn't support a moving static (vehicle really) and another vehicle to come in contact (at least, not without a big boom). One of the reasons why we can drop tanks/jeeps out of a pilot controlled C140... :|

can we get some boats that a biger and can move but are not aircraft carrier. like a destroyer or some typ of pt boat and get a navial battle of destroyers and /or pt boats. over maby realy small land mases like 20m by 30m max

Moving land masses?

I would love to see some destroyers added - but again, if we make them player controlled (vehicles) then you can't land choppers on them or launch the small rib from them. But, realistically, there would be some destroyers with the carrier.

Hey, could even do a tribute and model the USS Cole - that would be slick.

you dont need to land any thing they could duke it out with there missles and main guns. or something like that but there should be more navial vestles. (maby a hover craft. maby get some torpedos argg (and a pirate class ;)

I land all the time on the Aircraft Carrier. It isnt hard, just have to know
where it is in relation to you and know how to work the a/c. My only problem is when you get the morons who stand in the spot where your gonna touch down waiting for the jet that you are flying to respawn, then get the wonderful "You have been punished for a team kill."

You know what else would be awesome - if PR had the Sea Fighter (some good pictures and renders there, more here). Would be an excellent alternative to using the aircraft carrier all the time...

I wonder if the military would give up the 3D model? ;)

i would love the pirate class.

Yeah, we need parrots to act as decoys. :p

Problem is ships with the big guns aren't seem duking it out very much anymore. I don't think there are any true US battleships still in service.
