Am I the only one who gets disconnected every 2 minutes?
Every now and then, I'll be able to play for 30 minutes straight, but usually I get disconnected shortly after joining the server and my entire internet dies for a few minutes

No idea if this is the cause, but I read on TBF2 that dual core CPUs suffer from an issue with BF2 that manifests itself as random conection failures.
Here's the thread with a link to a patch from AMD (or maybe MS) that addresses the issue:
http://www.totalbf2.com/forums/showthre ... =dual+core
And another thread about this problem:
http://techreport.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=36115
And as Fritz pointed out... if yer on wireless.... hrm...... well I gave up on gaming over a wireless network and run hard wire for the home network, but have wireless for guests, laptops, etc.

Yeah, I remember seeing this at a LAN, I beleive the solution was to disable a certain property. I remeber totalbf2.com had a guide of some sort to solve the problem. No idea if this is the cause, but I read on TBF2 that dual core CPUs suffer from an issue with BF2 that manifests itself as random conection failures.

Wireless works great for me,
I had a problem like that when I installed PRMM, it seems the first time I ran PRMM it didn't pick up on my settings from the vanilla BF2. In short my connection setting was set incorrectly and just needed to be changed.
It seems that the mod doesn't pick up on changes to your configuration for regular BF2.

Now I can't even log in
I've been gaming wireless since 2004, and this is the first time I've encountered major problems. And it's for my favorite ****ing game, damnit!
Prior to this week, PRMM has never given me any problems
