I know this has been talked about. But i have some ideas that may help.
1st I think plane should have to be going full speed with out after burners to release there bombs. To make it harder to bomb. 2nd They should have to land to rearm and repair. Well of coruse you would need new runways and carriers well a not realist mod has seemed to make a realist carrier. A realistic carrier isnt too much of a problem, the thing is that a realistic runway would cover half a max size BF2 map. Now assume you need two of these airfields, both having multiple runways... It would just be a map consisting of two airfields so close to each other they pass for a single airfieldHeydude235 wrote:. This is why I don't like jets in PRMM, it's like launching your jets from the airbase you're fighting at! How about that, make one HUGE airfield map, have the jets from opposing teams launch from opposite sides, ground forces fight in the "middle". Could have jets either, only one side gets them because they have the airfield, OR their is an airfield close to shore, a carrier (ridiculously) close to shore aswell, then it is somewhat realistic to have the jets.

With the maps things, i would think that having airfields be in the "out of bounds area" would fix the problem, and only allow players part of that team to be in that area without taking damage, it would simulate airfields being further away, as neither side will be able to reach theirs enemy mainbase, also prevents spawn camping.
And as for the bombing, check the post i made in this topic, i think it really solves everything.

ok i know your playing around but a million miles per hour thats way overexagerating it, also in real life it is possible to lock on to helicopters, you see in RL a plane doesnt have to be right up the enemys A$$ to lock on, they can do it from a couple of nautical miles away, plus they would be able to use their guns to tear planes apart much faster than in PRMM.
