Iv been wondering if there was a means of making a supply truck in pr drive automatically to a pre arranged drop off point, I seen a lot of people complaining about long walks due to vehicles ending up abandoned I just thought this was one way to fix it.
But then again cos BF2 so old it probably not possible. Or make it so a squad could remotely drive a supply truck and there for be able to drive it back to be used again.
Remote control in BF2 is it possible?.

Dont know about a preset path object, but "remote controlled" means something different, does it not?
If you mean remote controlled as in someone goes to a console back at base, hits "e" to "enter" it, the seat is in the remote controlled vehicle that it farther away[wherever it is], the driver can then remote control it. At least, thats my idea on it. Same could go for security cameras and the like in BF2 engine.
But, like I said, something tells me that making a vehicle drive a preset path, and not mess up terribly, is impossible. i know someone got flyby bombings to work, but thats a jet in the air, whereas on the ground youve got terrain, trees, etc to worry about. I wonder if the vehicle would be able to correct itself if it got off its path, etc.
but, itd be worth a shot, if someone knows how...
Just, I wonder about some of the problems that would arise.

I don't think this is a good or realistic way to fix the problem. First of all, people would learn the routes and just camp them, giving them a buttload of easy kills and not solving the problem. Also, it can more easily be solved by playing with people who aren't tardbowls.
