M134 Minigun + M40a3 Sounds

I think the current sound of the M134 is very flat and "whirly," if you will. The real sound has a much more distinctive and pronounced buzzing sound (just search any video of "m134" in action to sample). I hope to see the sound properly fixed in future versions.

The M40a3 sound is very bland and 80s action flick-like. There should be the forceful crack and bang that a real one makes: YouTube - Fun Fun With Sniper Rifles. The gun also seems a bit too large in proportion to the soldier carrying it, esp the noticeably oversized barrel.

Otherwise, great work on the other stuff. Also, just out of curiosity, will the Mk. 19 Grenade Machine Gun ever be in the mod?

Let me give you a hint: YouTube doesn't cut it for audio. But if you have an M134 and know someone with some recording skills I'm sure the DEVs could use the real deal.

Sure let me just pull it out of the shed.*sarcasm* but I do have a couple sounds that a friend of mine recorded with a proper microphone. I could bug him for them. I am pretty sure he still has them even after all this time.

Lets all pitch in some money and send Jaymz a M134 Minigun and a M40A3!

The DEV team has done an amazing job with the new sounds in this version, and I can't wait to see their work continue.

decent sound gifts are always welcome!

but keep in mind that these sounds needs to have some quality standarts to be useable and there might be the possibility that we decide to not use them, even if the quality is outstanding..
