When you paint a target with the new SOFLAM, can you pretty much move the marker yourself, and the target will appear to be moving to pilots? Or does it just attach to a vehicle and follow it.....This is all for CAS, of course.
Also, do vehicle not appear as targets to pilots anymore unless they are painted?

no vehicls dont have a laser target unless they are painted.
the projectile the simrad fires has a laser target on it, it also can stick to things and has a life time of 15 sec so you can fire it and forget.
also a inportant tip, if you hold the mouse button down then it will keep firing a projectile and the bomb will never hit where you want it to.
