Commander Kit Request

I Seen That Commander Don't Have Kit Request And I Think He Should Have This Option. I Know That Commander Shouldn't Go To Battle Etc.. But In Some Servers Commander Battle IS Allowed and there maybe should be option to server admins to setif Kit Request For Commander Will Work Or Not..

Not true

You can request an officer kit

Commanders are supposed to go to battle. Commander assets don't fall from the sky to random locations on the map (not just main base). Commander can spawn with an officer kit and he can also request one where possible.

Yeah it's only very high ranking officers (and ones that have nothing to do with the frontline) that don't see real battle.

I'm just curious...what rank/position would the BF2 Commander slot hold? I'm thinking that 'he' would be a platoon commander (Lieutenant or Captain), but his ability to place Commander Assets has me thinking that he would be a bit higher ranked.

Whatever the answer is, I still hate that DICE gave the Commander the voice of a 60-year-old general instead of a twenty-something platoon commander.

To answer the original topic, just request an Officer kit; the Commander ought to be an officer, you know.

I agree that the Commander should only be able to request Officer kits. Sure if he needs to he can spawn any kit he wants, but in terms of request ability, Officer should be the only one. I can't imagine a Commander exercising his role too well with a Sniper or LAT kit.
