Armoured Recce - I did search first!
Lord Strathconas Horse (Royal Canadians) // Lav Coyote
I'm pretty sure the Americans have this also. It would be really handy to have a Lav that can stay hull down and look over some hills to direct incoming fire. Used effectively this would be a fun new addition to the fight.
What do you guys think?

A Lav Coyote is basically a LAV-25 with the addition of the surveillance system. Now you might ask "hey why don't we just add the surveillance system to the back?". Will that can't be done. DICE LAV-25 model can't be touched since it's not ours so it would require the task of remodeling the LAV-25 to have this system added (at least in resemblance).

I'm curious as to ask then how come the TOW pods on DICE's LAV-25 were removed? Isn't that a modification ("touch") of the model as well?[R-CON]Cheeseman wrote: DICE LAV-25 model can't be touched since it's not ours so it would require the task of remodeling the LAV-25 to have this system added (at least in resemblance).

Get your facts straight, the TOW missile luncher is a separate object on the vehicle much like the M2 Machine gun on the Humvees. The main model can’t be manipulated in design and form.MarineSeaknight wrote:I'm curious as to ask then how come the TOW pods on DICE's LAV-25 were removed? But doesn't that mean that the surveillance system could be added to the model as a child? This seems to me that it would satisfy the conditions, and be relatively easy.
Anyhow, ignoring the feasability, I don't know that LAV-25s for the USMC actually deploy with this system. Global Security has nothing on it, and I just don't feel like searching that hard. If someone comes up with something that supports adding it I'm all for it, but I've never seen the system on a USMC LAV.

from what i understand, the TOW launchers are still there actually, the DEVs just coded them so they dont render. basically they made them invisibleMarineSeaknight wrote:I'm curious as to ask then how come the TOW pods on DICE's LAV-25 were removed?
