I spent some time as a medic on Kyongan'Ni and 16 player EJOD today, and I have to say that it is a very fulfilling class. If you try to be a combat medic, running around owning people, you will simply get killed. Take cover, move in to help secure when absolutely necessary, but you shouldn't be the first guy in the door. You're there to make sure someone ELSE can always be first in the door.

As long as the man down time didnt add to the total down time of the soldier, Im down.
Even if it does, itd be nice to have more time for a revive/patch up.
But if there was a way to just give more time to down time and less to "dead" time, thatd be cool. But that might mess up when you get headshotted[youd have a shorter respawn] unless theres a way to differentiate... probably...
In short, rambling aside, more time for medics to do their job and not have to risk running into the street so much, and having time for the squad to regain some sense of area security before reviving is cool in my mind.

No. To the poll.
I don't personally see why so many people dislike Ironsight, if you are in close combat, you have a sincere advantage. I can't count the amount of time, especially now that sight accuracy is implemented, that I outshoot anybody with a scope, when they come around the corner.
And as a medic, you are better off behind the front line, as your most important role other than getting people back to life, is to take down whoever just destroyed your squad so it is safe to revive them, if they are nearby, you will praise the fact you got ironsight.
Every squad need people with ironsights, as not all PR battle happens shooting somebody over a mile away.

But hey, want to improve the Medic class? Some grenades would be nice, not necessary, but would be nice.

The scoped rifles are no worse than the irons in CQB, you just need to not be retarded with them. I do agree that the medic should not be on the front line, I've said many times that the job of reviving teammates is much more important than any kills you might be making.
I do think another smoke grenade, as well as more defib ammo, and more medic calls would be very useful. Right now it's a mess trying to find the one guy who's down, switching back and forth between your map and running around. More medic calls, but limit the time on the map to like 15 seconds.

As stated by many, the primary job of medics is to heal up your teammates, so in turn, they can continue killing the enemies that you couldn't kill with your ironsights as medic.
I managed the top 5 in a round being only medic. I had zero kills, seven deaths, but plenty of teampoints for healing and reviving teammates, who no doubt appreciated the long walkabout I saved them from experiencing. I vote no.
Fragmentation grenades for medics? Please no . . . Extra smoke grenades, yes please.

OOOOOOH!!!
G3 with scope and mount sounds nifty.cus they are strong.
The medic class is at its most realistic atm
Add more points for insentive.
But anybody in the army can be handed anything. so i think maybe giving the medics an ammo bag would be usefull.
but dont scrap iron sights on forest maps, they rule for close quarters.
actually, on that note. on big open spaces maps, give em scope and on forest maps, give em iron sights. problem solved.

You know, when your in last stand and you can press F to respawn immediately rather than wait for some1 to come to ur pistol sight.

if its the most realistic why do u want to change it? If anyone can be handed anything why are ther MOS's? And why would medics need an ammo bag? so they can be 1337 sP3copz rambo m3d!cs?

I understand the argument of medics having optics, might reduce their willing or wanting to do their job. I might agree for PR sakes. But being a SSG the US Army, new standards state "all US Service members will have the M68 (red dot optics) on their personal weapon". So with that, want realism, keep up with US Forces, and the new TTP's. Medics, defensive purposes acknowledged, will do better with the M68.
It's better to keep your mouth shut, and be thought an idiot, than to open it and prove it...
Dude, I will punch you in the face until you blackout! Move the *uck out!
