do you know the palace from the sf addon on this city map? Could you implement it in any dessert maps? Maybe basrah and kashan (+ a little town in kashan).

aint really a place holder, as its the correct weapon, it just needs fixing up, a place holder is like the L96 model for the MEC and PLA sniper rifles where in time we plan to replace them with what MEC and PLA would really use for a built action sniper rifle.

Hey i got warned for our discussion here. thats ok for me but i think the devs made a little mistake.

I got -4 point for my first post about the brit army, i see the reason and im fine with a warning for it.

i got warned by email not here till our discussion, and this email arrived couple of times instead 1 time and the -4 adds to a permanent ban. maybe you check this for me?


Im not here to make any trouble check all my posts and you will se that.

Maybe the multiple email is a bug (i hope) , because a permanent ban for just 1 discussion here is not the way you handle such things i hope.

(if you warned me in this thread i would have corrected my post in your teamrs of the forum rules, but the emails i regognized after permanent ban till my discussion with rhino.)

Btw the way you quoted me was bad too, the 2nd part of my post was to answer the question why so much ppl dont know much about the brits. In the first part i said i dont know much about them too.

The tried to give arguments of the lack of popularity of the brit army, i never said the brits are bad guys. read my posts after the one bad formulated post which i got the warning for.

p.s. you need to see the whole content, im not so good in english and i have much less vocabulary in it then other guys. Its just a foreign language for me so maybe you misunderstood some things...

I wouldnt use the account more but i know what im saying that those guns have some problems. I served 8 years in i was shooting a lot of guns.

I know when i say the m16/m4 are **** because they overheat fast because their bolt closes every time after shoot around + the m16 becomes jamming when to hot or dirty... (i shoot multiple times with such a gun)

I know too that german guns like the m16 much better in technic, hk416 is same like m4 but with much better tec inside inkow too that the g36 is better to handle than a m16 or m4... the g3 is robust like an ak and you can put it in the dirt and then shoot you targets, i shoot that gun too, i fired much diffrent guns to know which are better than others...

The post only was to show that the popularity of the brits are not so big like other armies i was writing. That was a direct answer to a guy which said : "why so many ppl dont know much about brits."

One of reasons for this is media present and other public relations stuff.
Pos.: If you hear about the iraq war in most of the worlds meida /except the brits (because they have more media present of their own ppl in their own land) you only hear about the us troops and bush.

I like brits (the ppl), i was 2 times there for holiday. BUT i dont know much about their army after the 2nd world war because of this reasons...

You can wide out the reasons for the lack of popularity much more:

- al reports in tv about wepon systems and armies are about us and russia troops atm
- there are less games with british army after the 2nd ww around (iknow cod4 sas, but there they use us standard guns)

and so on...

shall i search for you the similar reportsfor m16/m4 too? Then maybe you trust my knowledge about guns. As i said i dont know much about brit army but iknow the sa80 a bit. (never shoot with it but i know there are some disatvantages in it) i still very intrested in guns and i think i know to use them.

I know they have 11 x Fuchs (NBC recce vehicles) too from germany....

But not as popular then the other armies, and thats the reason why so many ppl dont know much about them like the us or russian forces as possible in the world....

From what I remember, BF2:SF only had like 3 new weapons, SCAR-H being one, and they changed the sniper scopes to red...thats it

the Britisch m4 is not the "M4" its a diemaco c7/c8 (keep forgetting) wich is a canadian riffle in use by several countries. it is not to be mistaken whit the M4 or M16 series. it has a little different look. (i know caus of the dutch army having them).

lol, soo what is sooooo diffrent from the leopard compared to the M1A2 and CR2 then? If the tanks went head to head there would be only be 2 main factors to determin which tank had victory, terrain/enviromant diffrences for advantage and disadvantage points and the main one, the crew.

I like the UK SF gun better than the BF2 m4. The only problem seems is the skin is a bit too light, but it doesn't bother me much. M4 from bf2 is too small like the old m16 was.

the brit SF model(C7/C8 )is an old model, it needs touching up, and it will either be done by the Devs at a much later date or we can recruit a community member to rework it

Seems I missed all the fun. Just because something is newer, doesn't make it better. And the reason the m4/16, c8/7 and the current SA80A2 are used is because they are reliable, which modern technology isn't always. The SA80A2 is currently, after UK MOD testing, to be the most reliable bullpup design rifle in operation anywhere in the world.

The model could use updating one day
