Increase range of squad member direction finder on HUD

Increase range of squad member direction finder on HUD

Now that the minimap has been removed, would it be possible to increase the range of the squad member direction finder that is placed on the HUD?
Squad cohesion is all important, but the limitations of PC displays make it unrealistically hard to stay together in heavily covered terrain such as woodland or towns.

distance markers would help maintain good formations and a safe interval. its hard moving while maintaining a 360 perimeter

Suggested before, it would seem that the almighty DEVs are granting us this wish from the tone I took from their posts on the subject, could be wrong though.

It's a universal request from the community to have those squad markers be extended to 75-100m minimum. I hope the Devs take that request seriously.

We have indeed. Unfortunately it required highering the nametag distance :(

Oh I see. But do you think 25m more would be fair and not too unbalancing? Even that much would be a great help.
