Commander Truck Suggestions

Post by Corpser »

Hola the forum,
I searched and couldn't find this. Could we have different command truck models for the different factions? Too often the question of "is that ours" happens as you cannot tell the faction unless you look at that little decal on the door. I though that deuce and a half is NATO...

Thanks,
Corpser.

As $keletOr already said, there are only 2 truck models...
...there are a lot of differences between those two models, so where's the problem?

Different truck models for every faction would be nice but... some one has to do it :|

Actually there are 3. One with a star on it, one with some sort of ^, and another with some red logo.

You can tell them apart by the exhaust pipe, spare tire or the angled, chubby shape of the drivers cab.

Turning the support trucks into gun trucks isn't a good idea.

Anyhow, the models are pretty different, I can't say I have much trouble telling the difference.

Alright. I need to pay more attention. Most vehicles from some distance are quite distinct. I found the trucks aren't. Thanks for pointing out the differences. I look for those next when I want to shoot one up. I though there was an 8 wheeled version of a truck for the Russians and I figure the chinese don't use a deuce and a half model of truck.

Thanks to all for the clarification. Thanks Bubba for the photo difference. I guess this is the one thing I learned today...

I dont think they should be "gun trucks" per se.....but it is realistic for a 5-ton to have a 50cal or even a Mk19 as a defense weapon.
Surely you can see the usefulness of being able to defend your commander truck from inside the truck itself with 360 degrees of fire.

The only trouble would be the usual tards riding along taking shots at nothing with no fire discipline....just like they do in the humvees or in the helos.
