How are BF animations made, in which program and so on... ???????

Judging from their quality i would say MS paint.

I believe the BF Editor supports 3DS max and Maya, and then allows you to play with/create the animations using the animation editor.

Created in 3DS Max or Maya.

The animation editor section of the bf2 editor does not allow creation or modification of the animations themselves.

While we are on the topic of animation:
I've setup my 3ds max with the necessary addon and I can import the skeletons and animations and everything works like it should, but is is possible to import the weapon mesh without having the .max file? I have found it very tricky to edit the animations without acctualy seeing the weapon im working on.

Hrmm. So what exactly does it allow you to edit, just out of passing interest? I keep meaning to have a play with the BF2 editor at some point, but never quite get round to it.

Think the problem was you missed a smiley or two in your post and it came out as being sarcastic rather than a joke which I assume it was.

It's not as simple as it sounds. You'd have to know your way around 3D modeling programs such as Autodesk 3ds Max, CINIMA 4D, Maya, etc. If you have experience with 3D modeling then that's a start, but otherwise you've got a long road ahead of you.
