an idea, and a question

Post by baptist_christian »

I'll start with the question:

How does the GPS guided bomb work? I saw this youtube video, and it looks like it can be used any time as long as a jet is in the air.

the idea I had was I really think there should be more insurgency maps, and have aerial support in them.

On some maps, after 1 hour has passed there will be a GPS Guided Bomb available for deployment. A commander must receive a request for the bomb via a squad leader that is using his SOFLAM. After the bomb is approved by the commander it will take up to a 1 minute delivery time to hit its target. The damage radius of the bomb is about 75 meters. Make sure that you deploy it when and where you need it most.

The PR Guide wrote:SAT Guided Air Strike

A commander has the ability to coordinate a SAT Guided Bombing mission with friendly controlled aircraft anywhere on the battlefield. In order to designate a target, a commander must enter the commander screen and right click on the location they want to put a target. Then left click on the Target Coordinates from the selection list and an icon will appear at that location. Friendly aircraft will now be able to target and lock on to the coordinates with bombs or missiles at the specified location.

That is all.
The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.
