50 things I would LOVE to see in PR but won't...

..... either because they can't be coded in, would make for cruddy gameplay/balance, because the devs. have produced them yet, or for other reasons.
So, here we go!
1. Weapons jamming... boring, perhaps, frustrating, very, kinda neat, yes.
2. The F35
3. The Stryker (might be in the U.S. Army faction?)
4. AT backlash (or whatever it's called, standing behind an AT weapon = ouch)
5. Manual artillary (kinda like in FH2)
6. Non-manual supply drops (though very few and long between in a round)
7. Weather ambiance
8. Rivers actually moving you somewhere (i stepped into some rapids, and it wasn't very rapid)
9. B1 Bombers
10. Aimbots (just kidding)
11. More maps w/ shotgun (I think there is only 1...)
12. Desert Patrol Vehicle (or whatever that 4 seater vehicle in SF was)
13. Teargas
14. Zip Lines
15. More night maps
16. Animations for reloading mounted weapons
17. More H and K weapons
18. Renaming "Fool's Road" into "Operation Dragonfly" (as the map description says)
19. MRE's (see #1)
20. UAV's
21. Scottish accents for some British soldiers (perhaps make it a random selection of who gets the accents each round?)
22. Unique MEC and Chinese commander trucks
23. Removal of Hills of Hymong (sp?)
24. More water vehicles
25. Dr1v4blE c4rriErz! l33T!
26. Manditory squadless-kicking
27. Spawnable planes? (as in, you can spawn in them midflight, perhaps a paratrooper plane?)
28. For #27, a paratrooper class (for specific maps)
29. Paratrooper maps?
30. Chinese vs. MEC maps (meh)
31. US vs. Militia maps
32. Updated M4 (i know, there is one in the making)
33. Update grenadier models for the USMC
34. Make that one Israel-theater map (with the US aircraft carrier) have a jet for either the MEC or the US
35. 2 seater jets
36. AWACS (would be kinda cool, when flying, you get a rader thingy on screen)
37. When depolying a JDAM, see an animation of a plane flying overhead, presumably delivering the JDAM
38. Making Mashtuur (sp?) city into a PR map, with some additions/ altering
39. Make LMGs much less accurate, yet less recoil when firing unaimed and from the hip
40. Breakable doors
41. Making the breakable fences actually f'in breakable!
42. Well, I looked stupid on this one, so i removed it.
43. Make FF-on manditory
44. If shot in specific body parts, have specific issues, such as:
-if in legs, can't move
-if in arms, can't aim
-if in torso, can't do either
45. And quite stupid on this one as well
46. B2 Bomber
47. More night maps!
48. More Militia maps
49. Make Flashbangs more effective (disabilitating)
50. Inclusion of Chuck Norris

Lol, maybe make Chuck norris a limited kit with no weapons, only the ability to do roundhouse kicks :D

Instead of a gun he should just look at an enemy and if they look back they die in fear.

Or make it so if you do one round house kick your team automatically wins.

DREAM TIME...............................




VOIP broadcast to all around player (including enemies).

VOIP channel that links SLs and all armored vehicles to one another.

Organization of all crewmen and airmen in to one squad, the size being limited to the total no. of vehicle slots (e.g. squad contains max of 4 IF there are 2 tanks only).

1 set of highly realistic player movement animations for 1st and 3rd person, combined with realistic weapon movement and recoil

Location of player or vehicle damage directly linked to specific disability or effect.

8 man squads that are visually organized on the squad menu into 2 fireteams, with fireteam leaders able to issue map markers.




I could not really give a f*** about anything else but the above, US Army, Harrier, M16A4, Eurofighter they are all meh in comparison. I'd be happy with just 2 armies and the above, becuase these would affect game play more than anything and are entirely impossible to implement but that not the point is it, i do and always will love PR just for trying.....its better than most game Devs do anyway! :wink:

28. For #27, a paratrooper class This is already implemented, though I don't believe any of the maps are in rotation currently.

I hate you, I really do. Some of the things you mention are already in PR, most are absolutely moronic beyond words.


In the spirit of listing things we want, I shall do the same!

1) Smarter players.

Is there any way we can get this in .8 somehow?
