Medics & shovels

Post by Scorch »

I did a brief search so if it been suggested, lock it.

Why don't medics have shovels? Marksmen have shovels but medics don't and that confuses me, can someone shed some light on this?

If you're intelligent enought to cure a wound, your intelligent enought to use a shovel. + a small combat shovel dosent take that much space to go with a medkit.

Lets have intelligent people with shovel, I'm all for it

+1 for medic with a shovel. Much more likely to be using a shovel than a rifle.

Naah it wouldnt be cool. Medics need gentle and soft hands :) not blistered hands from shoveling dirt :)

But seriously why not. If its a 3 or 4 man squad there is a chance you will have only one shovel and than it takes a looooooong time to build something.

Im all for making the medic more valuable, but if almost every class has a shovel, it wont be anything especial anymore. We might as well just stand beside the bunker and press E.

usually in a normal squad, everyone else in teh squad will have shovels. (excpt the squad leader).

not giving shovels to medics will make the other classes more valuable in what theyre supposed to do.

Lets just hope they make the shovel a melee weapon

Medics shouldn't have shovels, the medic's dainty fingers are suited to light weights and fine finger movements...a piano would be good.. I kid!!!

Glad to hear medics are gettin shovels, always annoying when the commander gives you a build order and provides a support truck just to find that no1 in the squad is capable of using a shovel..............

i thought it was common knowledge they were getting one... or is it just me?

But yes, they are getting one. So all spawn kits will have one. amirite?
