Please state your preferred aircraft (if any) in 0.7 and why. I will make another poll on favorite rotary wing aircraft later. If you fly, tell me your experiences. If you don't, how have the 0.7 changes changed how you play?

Needless to say the aircraft in 0.7 went through a major overhaul with a lot of uncharted territory as far as PR goes. The purpose of this thread is to get feedback for peoples experiences with the fixed wing aircraft. Don't gripe about when you got shot down, but if you feel that there are balance issues I'd like to know. Please stay focused on their handling and performance please.

Please don't ask for new jets here ect just say what you like or don't like about the aircraft in 0.7. For example, do you have trouble keeping the aircraft steady, or does it seem slippery ect? Ok go nuts.

i dont fly and ive never flown in PR 0.7,

but i love the A-10. everytime it flies over our head in Kashan desert, everyone in my squad always cheers. and i just love the sound of it.

A-10 B/c the gun actually shoots when I press the button none of that BS wait time with the F-16. And B/c I shot down A Mig(Or SU?) with its 30mm main gun last night on Kashan it was epic

You did something that aircraft wasn't designed to do, GR34. Sure the gun is mighty, but its meant for ground targets, not dogfights.

I prefer the su 25. I find it's handling to be very smooth and it turns well in the air. The a-10 seems to be a little more jerky in my experience (i use a mouse though). The fighters are meh... The turn rate is low for a reason but because of that it's very jerky and that in turn makes them difficult to fly.

My favorite aircraft in PR is the F-16. I also like the A-10 because it's quite easy to land it (at least for me).

Ok... I'm not sure about your question exactly but I'll try to answer. There is my opinion!

I must say that I never (only 2-3 times) fly jet in the version before 0.7...
Now... in 0.7... I'm an addict! They are awesome... especially the A-10.

My second choice is either F-16 or EuroFighter... I didn't tried the other planes much too talk about them... but I don't fly too much of fighter jet and theres why:
Since I don't have a joystick, I play with my keyboard since I don't find good configuration for my mouse setting. Going up and down with the mouse... with everything maxed in mouse setting (In the proper menu), I can't be as effective as a keyboard and even less than a joystick. This is why I don't play Fighter jets too much... air to air combat is kind of hard with those condition... would like to know if there is known issue about this? (same goes for all the JET... not chopper)

For the A10:
I didn't read about it but I saw that sometime there is some lag in the flying of the A10... even when I have this "Little lag"... the maneuverability is pretty good. With the keyboard it is much easier to fly the A10 than fighters jet since it's slower and that you have the time to align your shot. If the infantry is well coordinated with the A10... the enemy must have a lot of AA to survive...

For the physics of the planes, I don't know if they are real or not. I like them and find the realistic but I guess the DEV know this better than me!

The problem is that people don't use air assets properly. Sometime it pissed me off **sorry for the expression. Especially when I need them and their not doing the job... or when I have a dedicated squad for jet and pilot steal "my" jet and get killed 2 secondes after for doing something stupid. Same goes for the COMMANDER <-- SL ( <-- SpecOps ), if they don't know how to use the system correctly and are not coordinating the air strike the round can be pretty ugly...All the air assets should stay in a safe place (main base) and wait for the commander (or any squad) that they need assistance... like in real life? Not flying all over the map trying to find something... and getting shot down by AA or enemy jet.

With the new system of "Close air support" and the Marker, the planes are awesome!

I love them all. I find them managable to fly with my mouse, which is a blessing; I've actually managed to shoot down an enemy jet with a MiG on Kashan with only my mouse! And that was my very first time in a jet in .7...

Anyway, I prefer the SU-25. GPS bombs, LGMs, cannon, AAMs and rockets =

The rockets could do with a bit more damage though. Always end up using loads to take out a tank.

Same goes for the cannon. I believe the GSh-30-2 is capable of firing depleted uranium rounds for CAS so why does it take so much to take out an enemy MBT?

The handling is excellent, not the most manouverable, but very fluid.

I agree, did everyone vote for their favorite jet cause its their countries jet and it sounds cool, or did you vote for the jet you like to fly the most because of handling/weapon systems?

I voted for the eurofighter because i like the way it handels.

both the SU-25 and the A-10 fires 30mm depleted uranium rounds (okey the A-10 has its "party mix", 3 depleted uranium anti armor rounds to every high explosive round)
but the SU-25 fires at a much slower rate. also the frogfoots "hydras" are not armor penetrating, they are high explosives so its gonna take acouple of those to bring down a tank.

If id have to choose between the A-10 and the frogfoot, I would take the frogfoot any day. it feels faster and more manouverable than the A-10. I have found that its much less smacktardness around the Su-25 maybe because all the kids like the A-10. (im not saying that everyone that likes the a-10 is a kid).

I hope the J-10 has been fixed in the patch. the only way I can land that thing is to dive into the runway and get the front wheel stuck in a strange way so that the jet stopes imideatly.

I voted for the euro as i love the plane in general and flying down the valleys and hills on Qualing owns. Best plane moment was when i was in the MIG where i took down an f16 and an another A 10(on after another) and stayed up for nearly the whole round but last five mins coming down to land for the fourth time and my wheels hit the barbed wire, then blew up (i hate the barbed wire on kasharn it gay) not bad for a person who doest have a joystick.

Still preffer flying in real life more fun

i voted for a10 as its the only plane i can land 100 percent of the time without crashing

why? its immense

the plane i dislike is the eurofighter as it seems to fly choppy and i think a joystick is probably needed.

sorry to say and I dunno what the DEVs strategy is behind this, but everything that can fire and flies has been made unhelpful with this release again.

it wouldve worked so well if theyd kept the 0.6 CAS combined with 0.7 AA. it wouldve equaled a very good chance for INF and otherwise a deserved superiority for smart pilots. but whatever..

I choose the MIG, damn fast, damn powerful mg and just plain stylish design

I sorta love them all... A10 is probably the best coz you dont really need to get ppl to laser mark targets for you, you just wait till someone spots something, and dive down on the tank/APC/whatever and simple take it out with your cannon
