cd key is invalid

i updated to the latest patch 1.41 now when i join a server it says cd key is invalid anyone know how to fix this

remove game, delete all folders. clear registry, reinstall retail game, patch, then install PR.

If error occurs, choose to download v1.41 again, from different location if possible in case the patch is a bad download.

search on the fourms, there are several threads on this. I had invalid cd key too, but i didnt have to reinstall the game to fix it.

Ah, I am assuming there were two parts to that answer and the second half accidentally went missing from your reply?

the second part went along the lines of, "in my case, I found that doing x resulted in resolving my problem."
