Grenade "saftey" range is very half assed. You can still run around the corner and kill someone with a grenade point blank...it just takes .5 seconds longer.

Yeah, wtf, if you point straight down at your feet, the nade bounces about a foot before exploding, but its basically the same general effect as before...

Yeah, I noticed the grenades are on a timer instead of a distance...

Wait till people start bouncing em around corners in CQB. I'm already practicing. :D

can anyone who actually patched. plz try to just run a single player game launching prmm not from a shortcut but rather from the community tab ingame. It would be nice to know for sure that prmm won't run at all and its not just graphic problems like before.

I hope the .3 patch comes soon. I really don't want to play Vanilla if it screws up PRMM. I won't DL the 1.2 patch untill I know PRMM will still work. Isn't sad when people would rather play free mod then a game we paid for? Sad or not... I love me some PRMM.

Erm guys, stop. That is a fake patch.

http://forum.eagames.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=17702

until it appears on the official EA site, it hasn't been released, and you have downloaded fake leaked versions.

I downloaded and installed the patch for the maps.

Same reason I'll be spending some lunch money on getting the EU Booster...MAPS....EA makes good maps....plus the booster is cheap.

I argue with that ... Maybe they make good maps (personally I think about 50% of them is good). Maybe it is cheap, I could afford myself as well without problem. BUT I think EA is doing a disgusting business politic and that is why Im not going to buy any of their addition, until they do not provide a decent patch with most of the bugs fixed. Still lots of funcionality is missing (BFTV, the have promised it ... can not rewind demo, just restart, no first person mode in demo... etc) But even if they make the game bugfree, and functional game still what kind of behaviour is to delay the editor to allow less chance for concurent free mods like this. And how come, that someone who buys the addon can come on a basic map with a gun from a different package (specops unlock), no doubt that is only for one reason, urge you to buy the ex-pack ... And even if I buy it.. maybe it is good for a loanwolf, but in a clan not everybody is going to do so, and on ladders it has no value ... so I think this divides the bf2 community for small groups, and as many boosterpack comes out it divides them more ... I do not think it is good for the community, but no doubt its good for the money ... maybe there would be a better way to have EA get incomes, and still the community and the players around the game can form unity ... I think even a monthly 2-5$ fee would be much better !
