Anyway, you know you cant be surrounded by mountains if your in a canyon? I was just wondering if you were using a panorama texture of mountains and the sky as the background rather than a plain blue blob. Most of the time you see geological features in the horizon.

and yea of course it's not exactly surrounded by mountains.

for your question: it's not a panorama texture it's terrain and you can climb up there.

actually you even should climb up there since the insurgents will have hideouts and caves up there if everything works out how i want it to..

Looks great btw, hope you are able to put in some sort of fortress-like compound walls that seem to define the villages in Helmand

That second map looks awesome too. Any idea what sides will be fighting there? I've noticed a lot of Insurgent maps already in the works, so I'm wondering is there any chance that second urban map could become a more conventional v.s conventional force map? Something along the lines of maybe the U.K v.s MEC? We really don't have enough of these kind of maps if you ask me.

some do, yes, and they usually think they are the coolest, just because they basicly do not have to vote (40 years governed by the same party, at the last election they got around 60% 0_o )
but do not think everyone in bavaria is a bavarian, we frankonians don't want to be mixed up with this bavarians
