Why does PRMM not allow music to be turned off while loading a map?
In audio options of PRMM music is turned off game volume music 0%, but in game music/soundtrack is still playing while loading maps. Everytime PRMM loads I need to take my headset off so i dont get hearing loss.

Strange... it works for me. Are you loading the game from xfire or any other way then from its own icon? As this has happened to me with BF2:SF while joining through xfire.

If you join a server from the ingame browser you shouldnt have a problem. When I use the ABR client the music plays.

if you dont like the music, delete the music file
simple
or replace it with a song you do like, just convert it to .ogg
easy easy easy

Problem with turning volume down is I can't hear anybody on our teamspeak server anymore. I do like the idea of deleting/replacing the music file

just modify the hosts file and then you dont have to launch from the abr client. this way you can launch from the ingame browser and have no gay music.

I still play regular BF2 and Special Forces on EA Ranked servers. Thats why I don't want to chnage my hosts fire. Not like you Dedmon5811 I have my rank spread out, hehe.

I think if you change the music you will get a modified content problem if you play vanilla.

C:\Program Files\EA bla bla bla\mods\bf2 or prmm (dunnno which)\Common Client.zip\Sound\Menu\Music
but you might get kicked for modified content so i wouldn't try it.

I'm pretty sure that if you encode a new .OGG with the correct serial (tutorial on BFeditor) that BF2 doesn't have any idea anything is different...

I dont think its a problem with custom maps but I dont think you could change the stock maps. That is what I meant
