im not sure how possible it is with the coding or whatever but i have been reading complaints about changed physics of the jets and counter arguments of "thats just the way the jets should be because that is more realistic", well it got me thinking of a way to please everyone.

"when a plane engages in a turn the screen could slowly black out depending on the amount of G forces you pull".

implementing this feature would allow you to turn back up the maneuverability of the jets which were probably as realistically maneuverable as jets are in real life before they were nerfed, except there was no G force effect on the pilot, which meant that it gave the impression of unreal capabilities of the jets (sorry if that was a mouthful). this new feature would please the "i want the old jets back people" and the "thats the way it should be people" as there would be an extra sense of realism involved while still leaving much of the capabilities of the jets intact.

now i was thinking about the technicalities of it. you would only have to implement the G force affect on the "pitch" axis as the only time you really turn is after you roll the jet and pull back on you joy stick or mouse, so maybe this would make the DEV's lives a little easier. also you could implement a "blackout" period if you turn too hard, for instance if you need to shake someone on your tail and the only way you can do that is to pull a really tight turn, you could black out for maybe 5-ish seconds as a downside to pulling huge turns, so you might get away but you will have to fly blind for 5 seconds after you have escaped and then your blackout would fade away and you consciousness would "recharge".


anyways just a thought, it could fit quite nicely into PR without hindering gameplay too much.... thats if its even possible!

there was a suggestion a while back to use the overheating code from weapons etc to be triggered by the turn buttons and when the button has been pushed for a certain amount of seconds a animation starts blacking the screen out.

If that were to be implemented, you would have blackout whenever you pushed the throttle to full on takeoff. Good concept initially, but I don't think there's a way to add additional criteria (altitude, speed, etc.) to whether the effect is triggered.

yha i suggested using the overheat code to do this, but you would black out even if you did a little turn for x amount of sec so i just forgot about it.
