Knowing the playername who teamkilled you is important. This allows you not to forgive people who come to the server and intentionally teamkill.
Otherwise in game im fine with not knowing what enemy killed me and with what weapon.

I think it should be shown in the top of the screen to the whol server, who TKed you but the TK punnish that EA put in is allways abused. I allways have it switched off on my old server as you would get ppl running infront of you plane if you got it first, and all the rest of that shit, Just to get you kicked. Then they found out that i was a admin when i kicked them. After ive gone throguh enouth of that i just made aload of my officers ingame admins and turned it off, then i have my whole clan pateroling the server and any 1 who sees anything we can just kick/ban them for it. Best solution ive found

Most?'[BT wrote:MugsyMalone']I dont know about disabling is a good idea. The problem with that is that most votekicks are unsuccesfull. They are scripts for the servers to make certain weapons not included in a forgive vote. Such is the claymore or mines.

I don't think I've ever seen ANY vote on ANY public BF2 server ever succeed. Ever. I tend to always vote "yes" regardless because I know that it'll never happen anyway.

Maybe there should be a sort of TK ranking system. If a person TK's and shoots and injures more then X number of times in a server. Then they will be kick. If they continue in other AAS server then they will be put on the list of TKers. If they STILL continue they will be banned from all AAS servers.

In one case I'm for disabling it - for certain weapons anyway such as the claymores and mines and whatnot. I'm sick and tired of being a sniper setting claymores to cover my flank when I'm running solo across the map - only to have some idiot decide "oh this guy (me) is smart, he knows where hes going sneaking through enemy lines to snipe em" and then hits one of my claymores and punishes me - when I had *NO* clue he was "backing me up", nor did I want him following me... Most people seem to be too stupid to look around for claymores on the 3D map or look on the team specific chat box when I tell em to look for my claymores.
On the other hand though, you get people who intentionally and repeatedly tk you - and its on one of the many servers where the owners set it up and dont have any admins on it patrolling for tk'ers, ever - in which case there has to be some system to kick tk'ers, cept' like the previous posts said, none of the votes ever get finished, which is why I think the game should take all the no-votes and default them to "Yes"
