-Civilians in Insurgency
-The British get their own army with cool toys
-Less to no hackers compared to vBF2
-People that go Rambo usually end up dead. Enforces teamwork. Playing in squads in PR is like vBF2 6 months ago. People stick together and watch each other's backs
-Whiners from vanilla often stay out after sampling a dose of realism
-So many more that I can't remember. . .

I love the satisfaction of being able to make multiple kills in a second or two, with the utter greatest of ease. With the number of kills, the swiftness and range at which they are made, all remaining unsurpassed by any other game made!

It is the only military semi-sim that offers remotely good, player vs player combat ... and the teamplay element is probably the best feature about it. (although the balance/gameplay/too complicated arguments against progress towards an even more realistic shooter really get on my tits in this place *shakes fist)
Although with only the aging Joint Ops Realism Mod and the limited mp in Operation Flashpoint and the farce that was Armed Assault to choose from, I/we are not exactly spoiled for choice ...

I love the sense of accomplishment when something is actually reached through proper teamwork. Altho this usually requires me to be playing with my clanmates or people from dedicated PR clans. (usually the people that run the server). Fact is, proper teamwork and coordination makes realism. Or so I think. Wich we all love. Ofcourse.

The teamwork and now in .7, the sounds. I love hearing the gun shots in the distance and the helicopters and other land vehicles. I think my favorite thing about it is, it can actually be quiet. Might sound weird and dumb, but it's cool to actually maybe sit somewhere and not see an enemy with in 30 seconds, because the maps are big and such. This is what makes it really big to me, and if you see an enemy, there are probably a few instead of one, then a fire fight breaks out. I just really like this game, I've only played Basrah the most. I just wish there was something very similar but US. vs insurgents on Insurgency. I think that would be the best, because I am going into the us army soon and I just rather play with my country and weapons you know? Nothing against the Brits of course.

I beg to differ last night I was on a random server that was running kashan 30 and so many people got banned for hacking.
I like project reality because it's realistic and it's fun at the same time, pretty much what a bunch of poeple said. Oh and I agree with what bloodbane ^^ said.

The fear... playing PR is one of rare moments I have of dying in a game.

[R-MOD]BloodBane611:"Romagnolo, you definitely deserve a LOL award for that."

Well, it's all statistics really, and one key factor.Tef wrote:I beg to differ last night I was on a random server that was running kashan 30 and so many people got banned for hacking.

Some hackers can't play well enough to get the virtual points/ranks/awards/stars in vBF2. Hacking is the only way they can get them.
Now you witnessed 30 people being banned. There were so many because there aren't that many servers they can hack on. Perhaps, they were even trying to veer people from playing this mod. Would you want to continue playing a mod with so few servers and so many hackers? Some wouldn't. Tricky swine, those hackers.

Heresay! BURN HIM!
Ahem.
I like it because it's one of the best tactical/team-minded FPS games ever made, that's why.
