I tend to call people n00b in my head, alot of my thoughts are in English, I recall TS stuff, gunshots and CoH voiceovers in my head when I get bored and I see the sights in my dreams.

I always respond to humorous comments with "lol" [not "el oh el"]

Ive just come to accept it as
a. The burden of being on the forums dang near 24/7
b. part of who I am and my evolution in speech

lol...

lol, double post...

My PR related habits have slowly dwindled, but I used to call everyone noobs, even girls, which is pretty embarrasing right there, and I shouted owned at a frog we had to dissect when the teacher said it was killed using air bubbles in its blood.

But maybe that's just me...

well, i was in choir once and i saw a bunch of backpacks together, i told a friend of mine to 'quick knife that rally point' and he just looked at me in a strange manner.

Then once my girl and i were talking on the phone and i was on TS, i swear i didnt realize i was pushing the button to talk....

When I've played too much PR....
  1. I call people to come over to me I'll say it's because "I need to set a rally point" in the same situation I'll often ask for 2 people when really I only need 1
  2. I'll ask people when they're coming out "What kit are you using?"
  3. When walking with a large group of people I'll often ask "Whos got Medic/Support?"
  4. I'll walk down the road and shout out whenever I hear a truck... People get confused why they NEED to know there's a truck coming
  5. When 0.6 was around I used to ask people to "Spawn on me" all the time
  6. Just can't stop saying "Copy that"

hmm, Like last year when i first got PR i was into it, alot.

And after playing loads, i used to think that i had to press a button to talk, so i'd be round with my m8s, and when i wanted to talk i used to press air and i was like where the hell is the button..

Back in the .5 times the Insurgent cars were blue, I must've been on my way to holiday, I saw a blue car and said oh shit Suicide car, I came to my senses my cousin looked at my strangly and was like wtf :S. I had to explain to him that it was the suicide cars in PR.

This is the only game that this has ever happend to me to, maybe its just really good

In all honesty, I can't say I dream of PR, but I do try to use Q and T menu's in other games, my speach patterns have altered (more terse and to the point), and when I saw a construction crane that looked quite similar to the BF2 crane, I had to stop myself from checking it for snipers.

Sad life that we live, isn't it? On the plus side, if you are ever in a hazardous situation, the responses you aquire from PR could save your life, eg. recognizing the sound of gunfire and knowing to search for hard cover instead of concealment.

Lol, I have the "t" and "y" thing as well (though I actually have them remapped, but you get the point). Same with commo rose. Doesn't work in any other game! :D

I use teamspeak a lot, where I use push to talk and sometimes when I'm on the phone, while holding my mouse, I put the middle mouse button to talk :o .

I have dreamt of PR, but don't remember anything anymore. I'm sure it was a lot of fun, with the usual stuff you often get in dreams, where some things really don't make any sense at all. Hehe.

Some very lulzy things happening to some of you chaps, maybe you should take up games like Sega Bass Fishing every once in a while.

I dread to think what some of the soldiers out there might have going through their heads when not in combat, I only hope after playing too much PR they dont go around stabbing civilians and expecting "auto reload" IRL when they are.

Was at work the other day, and I saw a co-worker down the hallway from me. For some strange reason he quickly ducked out of sight, so without thinking I sprinted toward him thinking he switched to a grenade and was preparing to throw it. No lie!

As it turned out, he tripped over a small box and was lying on the floor when I got to him. I thought he had gone prone, so I was tying to knife him :) Everyone just laughed, mostly cause he had fallen, so I just played it off. No one knew that secretly I just saved them all from the "virtual" MEC forces ;) Hehehe.....

Got away with another one :)
