Enemy Fire Base ammo bug

I was playing yesterday on T&T server around 1:00 (+1GMT), while searching for an enemy RP I found an abandoned fire base and immediately called for an APC support. Approximately 2 min later, after the FB was destroyed (but still able to be shovelled again) I get a bit closer and, surprisingly, I was resupplied by it (all ammo, no visible ammo packs around).

Thats correct. I think they wanted to create realism in stealing ammo. Even if the rounds dont fit!

I wonder if it was possible to capture & rebuild it.

Never. Your commander didnt give the order so its not your Firebase...
And you cant cap it. The enemy can rebuild it though. So always totally destroy it.

Assets will go away after 5 minutes of not being fully built (according to the manual), so if you don't have more ammo just hang around for 5 minutes and watch it disappear.
