Iraq Army?

Post by Hfett »

Well we have now lots of community factions going on, and most of then will probably be "friendly" with each other (besides russia wich will take on everyone) what about having another "enemy" faction?

USI has prety much that faction ready (vehicles, weapons etc...) and it would be a nice faction to have on assimetrycal AAS maps

Insurgents right now only works well on Insurgency gamemod, Mec is great for simetrycal maps like Kashan/Ejod

But an Iraq army would be nice on future counterattack maps or even at map audits (like the night airport)
There is a lot of custom maps that could be audited to suit such faction

What do the dev's think about it? Of course that is if the USI team agrees, it is a great mod and got a lot of awesome vehicles

I could do the map audits if needed

it doesn't really fit with the rest of the factions, randomly having time travelling Iraqis from 1991.
The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.

There's MEC already, Fett.

Even though a mixed faction of US Army and Iraqi National Guard would be awesome to say the least.

North Korea would fit more easily, wouden't it?

Use the search, noob :p

j/k, but I would rather have the New Iraqi Army than the 1991 one.

Oh god no, ppl would keep writing "Hewo!" and various other team america quotes in to the chat

I heard someplace that a somali map is in the mix? Perhaps moving the conflict to africa would get some more variation on the teams.

If there is I think that might be better then having another middle eastern faction, we have 2 of them after all, that and the iraqi army is one of our "friends". But I do think another "enemy" faction is needed.

I checked here but forgot to use the search

I was thinking about some Middle east "militia style" faction and that is why i thought about the Iraq from USI since it would be easier to make than a new faction from the start, since a new faction from the scratch will probably not happen anytime soon, since the dev's have a lot of work on their hands.

With we use the regular iraq like it was said it would be another friendly faction

At least we will have Hamas along with IDF

Mods please close topic now
