You shoot a missle into an oil tower, it gets stuck there, then when an aircraft gets near, the missle either flies away randomly or flies into the aircraft...

1.2 needs a hotfix... which we will most likely then have to hotfix.... ********!

only map that I like is Wake Island

Although not many like it, it's a great tactiacal map because of the fact that there's not much going on in the way of the jets.

Oh, Wake Island is the worst for Planewhores. 4 jets constantly making flybys on your sole base while artillery rains down and L96 noobs take potshots is enough to make any grown man give up and leave the server.

I have to agree that Wake is a pilots wet dream. Farely straight bomb runs, and a small area to really worry about. Add in the damn UAV and out go any tactics...

thats strange... i play usually only on Wake-only servers and i dont think i ever really get hit by bombs from jets...
HOWEVER; Arty is another story...

this was the first thing i saw when i hoped into a jet with the new patch. First missles i fired went zig zagging arround a enemy jet just like when tous missles come off that tower. Also missles become stuck behind plane engines just like they do on that tower now and again. it gets really disconserting when looking in 3rd person to see this missle stuck on your *** that you know any sec will blow

Well they did say that they were going to make it harder for the planes and heli's.
EA brings us the "FLAMING TOWERS OF DEATH !!!"

Was it the best solution, probaly not. But it shure has a nice style

God now I actually WANT to install the new patch just to try it out !!!

Damn they found a way to make me go back and try Vanilla a bit longer, how neat is that.
