Just bought BF2 for project Reality...

Post by djdelmar »

I got recommended this by a friend of mine as he's been raving on about it for a while now, so I went out and bought bf2 for £10.
I'm just installing the mod now and I can't wait. I hope it's worth it

EDIT: Do you need to download the 1.1gb file THEN the levels pack that's 800mb? :S

Read the manual before playing or you might be more than a little confused at first.

The manual and the guide are your very good friends. But hop on a server, join a squad, and have fun!

A mic/headphones is a good idea. PR is really boring when people don't talk to each other.

Yeah a mic is a must!

You just need both, doesn't matter the order.

As said above... read the manual/guide. It really helps a lot and you will also avoid people that shouldn't be playing PR in the first place. People who are simply rude to new players who ask basic question.

But not to scare you, most of our community is friendly and mature. You will find lots of people that are willing to help a new guy. So dont be afraid to say when you join the squad that you are new and would like to have some fun/to learn how this should be played.

Welcome on board and... be carefull, if you start playing you wont be able to stop. PR wont let people go away so easy ;)

Enjoy

Random.. ehmmm... "player": Give me the chopper. No. I want to fly. No. But I want to, get out from it now or I TK you. ... ... ... No

Welcome to the mod.

Better make a checklist of things you will be needing for a PR game.

Good luck,

Yeah welcome aboard.

What are your specs?? Just to be safe you should set everything to medium, tops and see how that plays. If you can set view distance to 100. You can do all of this in the settings/video section in the PR main.

PR devs should get sales commission really.

A link to the Amazon shop for bf2 would generate some revenue perhaps
