Arty is realistic, yes. 1) its never that accurate, 2) arty needs to be called in by ground troops or choppers. 3) Arty is not always avaliable, due to it being destroyed (which in bf2 you just drop a crate, job done) 4) Arty is never fired on urban areas 5) Arty in a GAME like BF2, is too much. How can you stick together as a squad, if you just get a barrage on you every 40 seconds?

yeah, thats a good point. people will do anything for a kill. In PRMM You at least get the chance to fall back fairly safely - because the enemy knows they will get owned.
teleporting into and out of vehicles, i think if they can put getting into and out of vehicles in a game like GTA then a game like BF2 can have it. honestly, if there is a tank, the person that decides to run to it will be killed.
prone = automatically better chances of hitting. dolphin divers have been replaced by people running then falling straight to the ground to get a kill.

Yeah, it so frustrating to have your entire squad wiped out in one random arty barrage. Also, the crate thing needs to be done away with, it should require engineers to manually fix the arty and it should take longer to fix it too. And yeah, everything needs to be player-controlled, spotting, the arty, everything.
i agree, if i get pounded by player controlled artillery, i know that takes work... but getting killed by a commander clicking a button is a bit of an upset =/
I do think that in PRMM, Arty should be allowed, but only on request by Squad Leaders. Artillery Makes an Important part of the game, and if the reload time was notched up then that'd be even better.
EDIT: Heres an idea - to avoid Squads just calling arty in on flags being capped, but an area limit to it - so they can call it either through the map, or aiming with crosshair, but only within, say 200m sight range.

- unrealistic vehicles on ground and in the air (damage/hitpoints)
- unrealistic bullets of rifles
- no secured spawns, so everyone can kill you if you spawn in. would be better to spawn in depots/barracks which are no attackable and you dont die when u just spawn in.

- i have to laugh about the nametags, every cover position is destroyed if someone spots your nametag. fortunately, realitymod deleted that.

- ranks and new weapons...i remember when the game started and everyone was only about to get new rank and weps...destroyed gameplay at the beginning a lot.
- flags to capture should not be possible by only one player, would be more cool if more ppl are needed and to work in a team
- flags should be at least not in the open that everyone can kill you at once, better in some building i.e u have to capture a radio or something
- exiting of vehicles, this has its pros and cons:
i would like to see that if this game would have more realistic vehicles, that soldiers cant just jump into a tank, get out and the same person is a machine gunner. you should be a tank driver nothing else..but like i said thats probably only possible if the tank is really a tank and you dont die in seconds. we have that in battleground-europe and it works fine, except you have to play your role until the end and you die. a mix would be cool here i.e. with restricted inf weps
anyway gj on this modification and i hope if we get 0.25, more people are playing it again..goint to play battleground-europe until i find ppl again on realitymod servers and i will try this servers with modified 1.2 bf2, listed in this forum.

-Inaccurate weapons (Its like i am useing a Thompson with everythink exsept sniper rifles)
-When i try to hide and that tank suddenly looks at me (UAV, Scan and when someone looks in your direction your name appears above your head!)
-Jet/Arty rape. Artillery should take alot longer to spawn and i am talking around 5-10 minuets, mabey more.
-No British and with the EF addon the Brit's are in the EU force (Like that is ever going to happen in RL)
-No tracked APC's.
-Cannot use unlocked L85A2 with assault or spec-ops or somethink.
-Personal Anti-tank weapons make it too easy to take out a tank (I want to see a tank as a threat instead of an easy kill because they are scared of C4's and mines.
-Exploits; Hoppers, Para off buildings, ect..
-Lack of teamwork and Commanders who just f/duck-around.

the way if i shoot some one point blank in the chest with a m95 it doesnt leave a watermellon size hole and they continue to mow me down with a pkm.
sniper rifles are supposed to be accurate not crappy and sniper needs a smg as secondary wep not a crappy pistol.
It has to be the physics that makes a 5 cm tall obstacle able stop you from moving forward! You need to jump over it in order to get past! My god, it really grinds my gears...
