random tunnels

well if you really want this, then yes this is possible. Only thing you have to do is pay up :D

Rhino,

What if a tunnel system was designed. And it was seperate from the landscape.
And at certain points in the level there would be gateways, but instead of being attached directly to the landscape, make it so they are teleporters to an alternate plain.
Visually without any augmentation you would notice emmediatly, but from the outside in, it could be completely pitch black on entry, and a really bright white light on exit.

Is that possible in BF2?

was possible in BFV, not in BF2...

I never played bf1942, I heard about it at the time roughly but thought it was a halo clone or something junk like that.

Weird how the engine seems to have gone backwards. From what Ive heard, stuff it had which we cant do is submarines, movable carrier, mortars, wing walking, vehicles transporting vehicles, better heli physics, proper ammo system and now tunnels! :O

I hope the trend does not continue with the next bf

subs are possible.
movable ships are possible, they just need to be low poly.
mortars are possible.
wing walking aint really, it is but its really buggy :p
vehciles transporting vehicles is just possible, but again, very buggy.
better heli physcis, hardly says anyhing :p
proper ammo system, again, hardly says anything :p
tunnels where done the same way afaik in 1942 as they are now, DICE moddted the BFV engine so it could do tunnels that way in it.
