Personally I reckon it'd be best if we had 2 trucks (although it'd require more modelling obviously) 1 for troop movement and 1 for building. Then we could fill the back of the building trucks with sandbags, brick and wood and stuff and get rid of the ability for them to carry troops other then 2 in the front. Make them only drivable by engineers and maybe crewmen too.
If people were mature this might be able to work out, but it would require disciplined engineers or engineering based squads.
Landings a bit of a ***** but you just have to get used to the flight dynamics of the plane your flying and how and when it will get to a suitable speed for landing. Would be nice if we had flaps and air brakes in game but I don't think such a thing is probably possible and I don't know how central things such as air brakes are used in landing high speed military aircraft.

Now first of all you dont brake with the S key, you use your arrow keys/taxing keys. When you have landed you wait untill your jet goes down in about 300 SPEED then you push your down arrow key to brake the jet.
I agree with that It's to many suply trucks instead of Humvies/Vodniks etc. And I also agree with the runways (Including Kashan Desert) being to short, 3/4 crashes Ive done by jet was while landing and then crashing into the wall in the end of the runway, EVEN If I use the brake!
