[HUD] Menu Screen

Post by UK_Force »

Today we bring you yet another update, only small but brings PR more up to date, and gives it a fresh feel, in the form of a new Menu Screen.

This image won the Army Experience and Best Overall Image awards at the Army Photographic competition 2007.

I managed to get clearance from the British Army to use it as our Menu Screen.

It was taken by LCpl Ian Chapman, a serving TA Soldier whilst on Duty in Afghanistan in 2007.

It is named:

"Casevac"

An injured soldier is stretchered on board a Chinook helicopter for evacuation. The guy in the foreground is receiving a message on his radio.

For further Photo's please visit his site @

I chose this Photograph as I believe it depicts "Realism"

Anyway here you go:

I like it a lot :)

Just wondering whether or not we could have the name of the picture and LCpl Chapman's name on bottom of the screen? I'm aware we don't need to for copyright purposes but it seems kind of fitting that it should be there, not quite sure why.

*I'm not sure did I use this word properly :|

Plain may not be the word... Subtle is more like it. And I like subtle. Awesome picture. Very stylish. Classy, I'd say.

Great pic, I like.

Shame it doesn't depict anything that happens in the game. A Chinook, people queuing for an aircraft lolz!, Soldier with short sleeves. Still a mint pic tho.

@ Uk force, can you post the original too, so those of us that will miss it can have it forever?

I think the word works fine,

it isn't over the top, very appropriate.

This bloke as a couple of good pics on his site.
