Playing as MEC Landing Zone 1 and Landing Zone 2 are "out of bounds" (meaning you will register as out of bounds and begin taking damage) for the entire round.
My understanding of the Counter Attack Mode was that once reinforcements were brought in all CP's were cappable. At the begining of the round, before the counter-attack begins, I can understand why LZ1 and LZ2 are "out of bounds", it allows the USMC to get a foot hold and begin ground operations. However, when the MEC team has fought back, after counter-attack is triggered, and captured all other control points why would LZ1 and LZ2 remain "out of bounds"?
This description of the Counter Attack mode, from the PR wiki, implies that once reinforcements arrive it essentially turns into an AAS map. In our experience both LZ1 and LZ2 have attack markers for the MEC, but the MEC is unable to enter the flag zone because it remains "out of bounds".In this, the second completely original PR game mode, a defending force is pinned back by the opposing side. Much as AASv2, a series of Control Points can be taken by the assaulting team, but the defenders are unable to retake any lost ground until they receive reinforcements. At this point, they will receive additional tickets and/or vehicles, and may launch their counter-offensive. Both sides may win by either reducing the enemy tickets to zero or by controlling every Control Point on the map.
Any help you can provide in this matter is appreciated.
