How about the new gamemode?

Deathmatch=no spawning.(realistic)
When you get killed,you get killed.

I'd be interested to see it in action tbh - either that or a wave type spawn every 5-10 minutes at the main base only (rps, bunkers etc. not used as spawn points)
A sizable minority of the community would play it

I'd give it a go but they then should extend crit wounded times for the gamemode because the gamemode would probably die if people would have to wait 10 minutes to respawn.

seeing as im always the first one to die in my squad (seriously i dont know why i play this damn game i always suck), i think this would be fun.

This would never work, it is not realistic due to the fact that most modern day army's move in Company's and till they get the army strength. A team of 32 serves as a platoon size of men. Not even close to 128+ men of a company and the over 1,000+ of a army. The only way is to have spawning.

PEople are bad enough at AAS and Counter Attack
ANd nobody even plays VIP
What makes you think people are gonna wait around maybe a half hour for the snipers to get killed?

I think this gamemode is only interesting for its competitive applications.

But fact is, I only have a few hours of playtime a week, and I aint gonna waste em being dead.

This seems like a simple yet interesting idea, I like it.
BTW will we see VIP added back in later (never got to play it, but looks like fun)?

How about a public beta where its only out there for 1 week, after that the next one is released and the DEVs asses the results of that beta.

Yeah, sucks. I gotta learn to go SL and put some meatshields up front.


Anyhow, I think a wave spawn would be quite fun. I know I would play much more carefully, and I think it could still work for at least medium sized maps. A super long respawn time, while not good for general pub play, would make staying alive actually matter.

But a lot of people would hate it.

Well, allot of people hated removal of the minimap, and now 3 months later when a friend of mine asked me to play 'nilla i was surprised that one existed.


IMO this would be great, but only on certain maps.



And for the record, i am not the worlds wordt PR player, i do get my fair share of kills, but not as much as my clan mates :? ??:

Kills don't matter winning the battle matters.....I don't really care much for the kil counter, I do like getting kills but I know that that really isn't important in this mod.

The way to test this would be to do the following:

-Create a smallish map specifically for the mode.
-Include a specific objective, like a hill or village that needs to be taken
-Don't have any large heavily armoured vehicles - it would be an infantry platoon face-off.

And then see how it plays out.


I've often thought it would be a good idea, and one that I'd like to see.
