Yep, light vehcles (only tried it with the humvees on Kashan, but it's probably universal) won't supply you with ammo, but can be used to drop an ammo cache.

They're smaller than crates but bigger than ammo bags; first thing anyone grabs from one should be fresh ammo bags, if they have them in their kit.

And think of it this way - you've had bonus experience in dealing with it.

When The Big Day Comes, you'll be away ahead of the guys who need new trousers every time they get surpressed :D

(Oh how I can't wait - I'm considering not actually killing anybody for the first 48 hours and just shooting at people's feet until they kill themselves to make the surpression stop :D )

Can someone explain to me how the suppression effect is realistic?

we cant truely simulate fear of death in a game, but this blurr effect gives the same result as if you were afraid of death- IE you stay the heck down.

Yep that's the nedland1 smoke screen IIRC, I've seen it several weeks ago on youtube but can't find the video anymore.
That is amazing, unefortunately smoke makes my computer laggy as hell when I zoom in (I really have to change that good old sapphire X800XL for a 8800GT :) )
Many thanks to everyone involved in the making of the best videogaming experience ever !

I kinda thought they 30 second+ spawn time was enough to make players scared to die.

Blurring and darkening my screen is NOT going to make me scared to get killed, it's going to make me frustrated and it's going to make it way easier to tell when people are shooting at you, instead of actually having to listen for snaps and patters of bullets. Which is more realistic imo.

Is .75 released to the public or something? If not, wait till it's released, and then comment on it. How would you guys know if it's good or not?

If it's released... kill me.

I've tried it out a bit, and it doesn't feel all that unrealistic. If you're in one of the guard towers on Bi Ming and a couple of people open fire on you...you are going to want to stay down.
