Squad smoke nades and other suggestions.

Squad order map
In bf2 atm when you play squad leader and you set out an order (attack, move here etc) there is a arrow on the map and a marker but also on the ground at that place there is a color smoke grenade this if far from realistic any plans on removing these colorful flower power grenades and just stick to markers on the map??

Squad leader red color smoke grenade
Any chanse its possible to give the squad leader a set of color smoke grenades for speciall use like marking a place for evac or pickup?

(exp. squad leader gets 3 red smoke grenades that when thrown out a radio or order is set out for any one in a blackhawk or little bird to get there and pick up the squad)

Yes im going mad to day my brain is pushing out alot of things atm...

Sound effects

Explotion effect
You know when your close to a tank/car/truck/helli or just an object that is getting blowup or hit by a grenade, c4 or a missile you should get a impact sound in your head yes the bass noise and ring in your ear

atm this is only applyed if your close to a airstrike or a grenades lands close to you and it last for about 10s for some reason the other types dont apply this effect to ya so if some one blow a tank close to ya with c4 this dont happens witch is inaccurate to say atleast..

I say add this effect to all sort of explotions and make it last for 30-40 sec depending on strengh, on a side note in real life these effects stay even longer everthing from 1min to acouple of days/weeks i know being a gunner of a 40mm anti-air gun when i did my army time..


wounded effect
Now = when your down and counting wounded and waiting for a medic to come help you , your able to shout like 3 times and no more and you cant move what so ever.

change it to = able to shout more then 3 times and also if possible make it so that you can move your head from side to side so you can check your surroundings. just to add something to do when your down cuz atm its just boring watching the sky for 35-40 seconds and gives no feeling what so ever to still being in the fight..

(As you already know, Black7) I completely agree! How the hell could nice colored smoke grenades suddenly appear far away on the battlefield? And why the hell would anyone WANT to place smoke grenades there? To tell the enemy what your plans are?

lol, well they do only appear for the guys in the certain squad. But I agree they can look silly. But how else would we tell players where to go. I think they are very useful for calling in airstrikes.

When I play with my clan on a public server (vanilla) We usually have a chopper or jet giving us close support, and because the spotting system doesn't last long enough, the smoke is much clearer from the air.

But I'd like to see them in, as mentioned. Different colours, for different purposes.

Evac
Medical attention
'Painting' targets for CAP support
Artillerty?

well the mini map and the map tells ppl where to go so the grenades are useless

i dont like the diff colored smoke nades for diff purpose evac and medical oki but artillery and CAP thats just unlogical and a way to give away your plans to the enemy..

in the case of an Air Strike, they'd be dead before they even had the chance to move out ;)

Until we get laser designators into PRMM, the smoke grenades within the squad command system is still useful.

I'm not sure if you guys can modify the radio commands, Request commands etc etc, as it would open up lots of possibilities
