My 2 cents: the way the new supression effect is visually shown is amazing, it really makes you run for cover and just get the hell out of there. On the flipside, I was playing operation Archer today and unfortunately i was on the insurgent side, I say unfortunately here because with the new effect it's quite simple, the first person who manages to squeeze a few rounds near his target will highly likely be the gunbattle winner. Why is this unfortunate you might think? Well because on this map, It seems damn impossible to land an AK round next to a marine. Everyone on insurgent side was bitching about it, not to mention the fact a marksman was just having a turkey shoot at mosque. I think that maybe the supression effect should be tweaked down a notch if your an insurgent. For the rest I really love the new map, the destroyable buildings are great fun and it's also nice to have some CQC again^^.

Then for a little question: if one is taking fire in real life, does it really give an effect like that? I thought it was quite weird to see ur vision go blurry. I just thought there would be more smoke and such... :confused:

Try to stay next to a something that makes high noises or a explosion, your react will something closing your eyes. That blurry vision simulates your soldier, the player, closing the eyes and tring to put his head down.

My opinion ? I liked it a lot, changes the game-play totally, in a better way of course.

It's fairly unrealistic, but since there's no real way to put the fear of death into the game, this will do.
